Car history: |
1968 Corvette Coupe. No paperwork, but the clues show this was a 427, 4 Speed, 400 horse Tri Power car. Has the single fuel line, M emissions sticker, BB Suspension, 5,600 Red line Tach. NCRS Shipper report shows Delivery Dealer Don Norem Chevrolet Buick in Bozeman Montana. Build Date - July 10, 1968, Fisher Body Date Code L09 July 09 1968 Paint Code 976 Lemans Blue. Interior - 414 Medium Blue Clear Title in my name. I will not reveal the vin to anyone other than the new owner. One window was wrapped in newspaper from 1984. The body is NO HIT and RUST FREE. Windshield is a replacement, but is good. I have all of the glass including the back window. Doors are really nice and have very minor surface rust in places. Yes, nothing more than minor surface rust. I have all of the parts to completely assemble the doors. The 4 speed frame is RUST FREE, but has scars of a repair on the passenger side in the front kick up (Hammer dents - easy cut & patch), some misc floor jack boo boos and some damage to the rear most cross member. Overall a nice frame. Big Block Rear Axle AU code, 3:36 / Heavy Duty Positraction. I bought this car for nose parts to repair my 435 horse Roadster and found this to be too clean to part out completely. I'm hoping to sell this whole, but will consider parting it. I bought it disassembled as you see it and have a lot of the interior including the seats, Dash, Tach, T Tops, Console, heater. It is not complete, but a lot of it is here. I also have the wiper door parts. Steering wheel is cracked. This car is far from complete and I do not know where the original motor or Trans is. It needs a lot, but is a super solid start. It's perfect for the guy with a rotted 327 car to move up to a budget 427 car and part his out. I am on the edge of the Omaha metropolitan area, not in the sticks. I'm selling this as a Parts Car, this is not a complete car and has parts missing. $5,500 (RnM) on July 17, 2016 |
